We're hearing a lot about "getting back to normal" once this pandemic is under control and eventually, finally gone from our planet.
I say, forget "normal"
Let's become so much better than just normal... whatever that means for you....
- Spend meaningful time with friends and family.
- View "stress" as a normal part of life and learn how to manage it well so that it doesn't take over.
- Live a mindful life, go slowly, take it easy. Avoid getting back into that "rat race" - is it really worth it?
- Communicate what you want. Communicate with people you love. Keep your mind and heart open and watch your communication skills flourish.
- Take care of your physical and mental health. Show yourself, and others, the love and compassion that we all need and deserve.
- Fill Your Cup, Make "Me Time" a priority. Do what relaxes and makes you feel good!
- If you're feeling overwhelmed, get the help and support you need.
I'm so looking forward to the day that we can say.... "Remember that pandemic we went through.... crazy, scary and different from anything any of us have ever experienced."
"Difficult times" is an understatement - especially for the front line workers and the souls infected with the virus.
But I do believe that there's always good things that come from difficult times.
Difficult times, I believe, make stronger and better people.
And stronger and better people make a better world - and that's a pretty wonderful thing.
No matter what you're going through during this pandemic, we're here for you, we have your back and are honoured to serve and treat you.
